Our kiln-dried ‘Wonky Wood’ logs are suitable for open fire, log burners, multi-fuel burners, pizza ovens, fire pits and chimeneas.
This wood is processed into logs from our arboricultural tree work, not our usual straight timber. Wood from trees which have been pruned or removed completely.
It comes in all sorts of quirky shapes and sizes and has been lovingly split by hand to lengths below 12″ (sizes do vary). Please note the wood is a mix of approximately 50% hardwood and 50% softwood.
It has been measured in cubic metre ventilated bags and kiln-dried. The bags of logs are dried inside our biomass-heated kiln for up to a week to ensure the logs are dry and ready for burning.
Moisture content is tested to ensure the kiln dried logs are below 20%. Delivered as a loose load. Limited stocks available.
