Started by William Simpson back in 2006, Simpson Arboriculture Ltd is a trustworthy, professional and well-established tree surgery company based in Ancaster, Lincolnshire. Growing up on his family farm, Will has always had a keen interest in agriculture and a passion for working outdoors.

After several years of studying agriculture and then working as a farm labourer, Will was eager to take on a new challenge and start his own business. He became fully qualified as an arborist climber and has continued to learn and expand his knowledge and understanding of arboriculture ever since.

Simpson Arboriculture Ltd is based on the family farm with Will and his wife Kate working full-time to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the business. Having started off as a two-man team, Kate now runs the office while Will works daily on-site and manages multiple teams carrying out various tree work and site clearance work across Lincolnshire and further afield. Areas covered included East Midlands and East of England.

Will’s cousin Tom is also part of the Simpson Arboriculture family. Being an experienced arborist, Tom works as a manager, supporting Will and Kate in managing teams, quoting and carrying out tree work on site.

Will and Kate live on the family farm with their 5-year-old twin boys and 3 dogs, so life is busy and fun and they are always on the go!

Working with Ecologists

Working with nature every day, we have an intuitive approach to the environment and often work alongside ecologists to make sure that birds, bats, newts and badgers are not at risk while tree work is carried out. We take great care to make sure we leave the environment where we work exactly as we found it, with no negative impact on nature or wildlife.

100% Recycled Waste

We are also proud to confirm that all of our waste is 100% recycled. Wood chippings become fuel in biomass boilers, or are used as garden mulch or else spread in paddocks to make tidy areas for chickens or horses. All waste wood is recycled into firewood logs or used in our boilers for fuel to heat our log kiln.
